LEADERSHIP AND QUALIFIED EDUCATION

Basically everyone is a leader and every leader will account for his leadership. Like it or not, every living person is actually involved in the leadership process. At least, he must to lead himself to survive.

Mohamad Natsir, a statesman, once said that in this world there was no school to be a leader. Leaders are never born in class, leaders are born of life's challenges. However, the leader must also be someone who has intelligence and faith. Because leadership without intelligence will be weak and leadership without faith is empty.

Great humans are those who are aware that the task of the first leadership is their own soul. He will never be able to change other people, if he doesn’t finished with himself. He will not be able to lead others, if he is unable to lead himself. Quality leaders are certainly born of quality education. Then, what is meant by quality education?

Qualified education is education that fits the education pillar. According to UNESCO there are 4 pillars of education :

1.       Learning to know

2.       Learning to do

3.       Learning to be

4.       Learning to live together

If all the pillars are implemented it will produce qualified education.

So to be a leader who can lead himself, lead others and lead the nation requires a qualified education. Qualified education will give birth to great leaders

Sebenernya, esay singkat ini dibuat untuk diikutsertakan dalam International Forum gitu di Thailand. Pertama kali bikin ginian, meskipun singkat tapi cukup tegang buatnya karena harus banyak baca dari berbagai sumber lalu disimpulkan. Alhamdulillah lolos tapi bukan yang fully funded jadi tetep harus bayar sekian juta. Goals gue bisa ke luar negeri dengan gratis, seandainya ditambahin orangtua ya jangan banyak-banyak. Jadi gue ga ambil kesempatan ini coz tabungan pribadi juga belom cukup. Failed on the first try is normal, right? Jadi yasudah legowo aja gajadi berangkat ke Thailand.

LOA (Letter of Acceptance / Suket lolos)

Gue percaya masih banyak kesempatan yang menunggu untuk dicoba. Asal sabar dikit dulu aja, sambil tetep menjaga semangat. Gue teringat kata-kata prof. Rhenald Kasali, if you really want something, you’ll find a way. If you don’t, you’ll find only excuses. Jadi yang penting kemauan kita dulu yang harus kuat, nanti bakal ada jalannya InsyaAllah. SOO KEEP STRIVING !
